Our country and the world stand at a crossroads. Humanity has the potential for economic security and abundance. A community of the people, by the people, and for the people, where children can grow in peace, is possible as never before. Or--if we do nothing—we face increasingly unlivable conditions caused by private ownership of the wealth that human labor has created. The purpose of the League of Revolutionaries for a New America is to build consciousness and unity among the most impacted workers, to be able to secure the needs of humanity and avoid the destitution and environmental disaster threatening life on our planet as we know it.

As people struggle to survive war, climate catastrophe, poverty, and pandemic, a new fascist state form is arising to crush us - the naked rule of corporate power. It uses the historic American weapon of white supremacy to attack communities of color, divide the working class, and rob the American people of our vote and the limited legal rights we have left. White supremacy is the legacy of the settler colonialism, slavery, land theft, and genocide of indigenous peoples that America was founded on. Fascism resorts to violence to control the working class, even controlling our intimate relationships and our personal identities. Society must replace corporations and financial institutions with publicly owned entities, or else they will continue to fasten their fascist grip over every aspect of our lives.

Today’s economic revolution is creating a new class of displaced workers, who must try to find work in a system that no longer needs them. They are part-time, contingent, minimum, and sub-minimum wage or unemployed workers, including vast numbers of refugees, migrants, people of color, women and youth. In the United States, the legacy of slavery ensures that African Americans are at the heart of the growing numbers of this class as it struggles to survive the end of sustainable work. The advent of AI (artificial intelligence) represents a new kind of robotics that is automation without human involvement on an even higher level. The blood- sucking private property system is replacing us with new technologies.

While the productivity of digital technology makes shared well-being possible for all humanity, the private property system is driving workers into destitution and often homelessness and speeds up the extraction that is destroying the earth. The rapidly accelerating extinction event we experience today has created a race between revolution and annihilation.

We have never been here before. Workers being displaced by the market are becoming a revolutionary class, because we have no stake in the system and cannot survive without confronting it. We need food, housing, education, and healthcare. We need an opportunity to contribute to society and to help save the planet. We need freedom from police terror, mass incarceration, and gender oppression. We fight for a government that takes care of people first. Ultimately this requires public ownership of the means to create wealth - the land, infrastructure, and technology - and distribution according to need. The fight for basic needs propels every other social struggle, because none of society’s social, moral, or ecological problems can be solved as long as the private property system exists.

This revolutionary class of workers is arising everywhere around the world. Global unity with and among those most impacted by the current crisis is central to the freedom of humanity the world over. We must make every effort to unite in global struggles.

The 2020 rebellions showed that today, whether through words or deeds, masses of socially conscious people are declaring themselves revolutionaries in opposition to the system’s poverty, racism, and ecological disaster. The League’s mission is to unite with other revolutionaries around the demands of the working class, especially the class of displaced workers, and show how the solution is a cooperative, communist society, where social wealth is owned in common and distributed according to need.

Victory cannot be won without class unity based on exposure and rejection of the white supremacy and hetero-patriarchy so deeply rooted in the structure of the American economy, politics, and history. In the practical struggle, people are uniting from below. The growing equality of misery is forming them into a social force. We rely on this developing practical unity to build conscious political understanding. Victory cannot be won until we gain the political power necessary to defeat fascism and organize the cooperative society we need.

We fight shoulder to shoulder with all social and political organizations and sections of society that seek to put an end to poverty, social and ecological doom, fascism, and war. Without a vision, the people perish. Human beings have proven that they can survive the barbarism of slavery, famine, and world wars, and build a better world out of destruction. History has given the present generation a great mission: to save the world for the future of life on earth. The battle is a class struggle because the ruling class is the enemy of humanity and the earth itself. The program of the workers who are being displaced is showing the way. We in the League welcome and will join with every effort to unite around the demands of the revolutionary class and secure the imperiled future of life on earth.

Nuestro país y el mundo entero se encuentran en una encrucijada. La humanidad tiene el potencial para lograr la seguridad económica y la abundancia para todo mundo. Hoy como nunca jamás visto en la historia, es posible tener una comunidad del pueblo, para el pueblo y por el pueblo en que los niños pueden crecer en paz. O, si no hacemos nada, enfrentamos condiciones cada vez más insostenibles porque la riqueza, producto de la labor humana, es propiedad privada. El objetivo de la Liga de Revolucionarios por una Nueva América es crear consciencia y unidad entre los trabajadores más afectados para que puedan procurarse las necesidades humanas y evitar la miseria y la catástrofe ambiental que amenaza la vida en nuestro planeta tal y como la conocemos.

Mientras la gente lucha por sobrevivir la guerra, el desastre climático, la pobreza y la pandemia, está surgiendo una nueva forma de estado fascista decidido a aplastarnos a todos—el brutal dominio del poder corporativo. Utiliza la supremacía blanca, arma histórica norteamericana para atacar a las comunidades de color, dividir la clase trabajadora y quitarnos el voto y los pocos derechos legales que nos quedan al pueblo norteamericano. La supremacía blanca es un legado del colonialismo, la esclavitud, el robo de tierras y el genocidio de los pueblos indígenas sobre los que se fundó este país. El fascismo recurre a la violencia para controlar a la clase obrera, hasta tomando control de nuestras relaciones íntimas e identidades personales. La sociedad tiene que reemplazar las corporaciones e instituciones financieras con entidades que sean son bienes públicos. Si no, éstas seguirán ampliando su dominio fascista sobre cada aspecto de nuestras vidas.

La revolución económica de nuestros tiempos está creando una nueva clase compuesta de trabajadores desplazados, obligados a buscar empleo en un sistema que ya no los necesita: trabajadores a tiempo parcial, independientes, con sueldos mínimos o inferior al mínimo o desempleados, incluyendo un inmenso número de refugiados, inmigrantes, personas de color, mujeres y jóvenes. En EE.UU. el legado de la esclavitud asegura que el pueblo afroamericano sea el núcleo del creciente número de esta clase luchando por sobrevivir el fin del trabajo sostenible. La llegada de la inteligencia artificial (IA) representa una nueva clase de robótica—la automatización sin intervención humana a un grado hasta mayor que antes. El sistema parásito de la propiedad privada nos está reemplazando con nuevas tecnologías.

A pesar de que la productividad de la tecnología digital hace posible el bienestar compartido por todos, el sistema de propiedad privada está arrojando al trabajador a la indigencia y, a menudo, al desamparo, mientras va acelerando la extracción, destruyendo la Tierra a la vez. La extinción masiva que estamos viviendo hoy, crece rápidamente, y ha creado una carrera entre la revolución y la aniquilación.

Nunca jamás habíamos estado en tal situación. Los trabajadores desplazados por el mercado se están convirtiendo en una clase revolucionaria porque no tenemos interés en el sistema y no podemos sobrevivir sin hacerle frente. Necesitamos alimentación, hogar, educación, cuidado médico. Necesitamos una oportunidad para contribuir a la sociedad y ayudar a salvar el planeta. Necesitamos librarnos del terror policíaco, la encarcelación en masa y la opresión por el mero hecho del género. Luchamos por un gobierno que antes que todo proteja a la gente. En última instancia, esto requiere la propiedad pública de los medios para crear riqueza —la tierra, la infraestructura y la tecnología—y la distribución de acuerdo con la necesidad. La lucha por las necesidades básicas impulsa todas las demás luchas sociales porque ninguno de los problemas sociales, morales o ecológicos se puede resolver mientras exista el sistema de propiedad privada.

Esta clase obrera revolucionaria está surgiendo por todas partes del mundo. La unidad global entre y junto a los más afectados por la actual crisis es esencial para la libertad global de la humanidad. Tenemos que hacer todo lo posible para unirnos en las luchas globales.

Las rebeliones de 2020 demostraron que hoy, sea mediante palabras o hechos, las masas de gente socialmente conscientes se declaran revolucionarias ante la pobreza, el racismo y el desastre ecológico del sistema imperante. La misión de la Liga es unirse con otros revolucionarios en base a las demandas de la clase trabajadora, especialmente de los trabajadores desplazados, y mostrar que la solución es una sociedad cooperativa comunista en que la riqueza social pertenece a todos y se distribuye según la necesidad.

No habrá victoria sin la unidad de clase en base a la denuncia y el rechazo de la supremacía blanca y el heteropatriarcado, tan profundamente arraigado en la estructura de la economía, la política y la historia de este país. En la lucha práctica, la gente se está uniendo a nivel de los de abajo. La ascendente igualdad de la miseria los está convirtiendo en una fuerza social. Dependemos de esta unidad práctica en desarrollo para crear una consciencia política. La victoria no se logrará hasta que obtengamos el poder político para derrotar el fascismo y organizar la sociedad cooperativa que necesitamos.

Luchamos hombro a hombro con toda organización social y política y todo sector de la sociedad que lucha por ponerle fin a la pobreza, el fracaso social y ecológico, el fascismo y la guerra. Sin visión, el pueblo perece. Los seres humanos han comprobado que pueden sobrevivir la barbarie de la esclavitud, el hambre y la guerra mundial y de las ruinas construir un mundo mejor. La historia le ha planteado una gran misión a la actual generación: salvar el mundo para salvaguardar el futuro de la vida en el planeta.

La contienda es una de lucha de clases porque la clase dominante es enemiga de la humanidad y de la mismísima Tierra. El programa de los trabajadores desplazados señala el camino. Nosotros en la Liga damos la bienvenida y nos adherimos a todo esfuerzo para unirnos en torno a las demandas de la clase revolucionaria y asegurar el futuro, hoy en peligro, de la vida sobre la Tierra.
